In this short documentary, five women and girls sit facing themselves in the hairdressers chair. As they have their hair restyled they reflect on all the haircuts they have had and the hidden stories of identity and femininity associated with these.
As the film progresses we watch a small transformation take place in each of the women involved.

In Being Here Now three sixteen year old boys are taken wild camping on a remote beach in Wales. They are all from inner city Sheffield and this is a new experience for them.
The boys face the challenge of having to work alongside each other to organise food and shelter whilst battling against unfamiliar circumstances. As they do this they are asked to explore their evolving philosophical and political beliefs. They reflect on their values and attitudes they hold as they make the transition from childhood to adulthood.
